Dear all friends bikers,
Since the belly of mother,
I dream of bikes ...
My first bike was - NOT - engine!
It was the SOLEX whose mom used to work as a nurse at home.
Given the many miles, he made the soul, and I had recovered as "bicycle",
having transformed into Propulsion ...
Hyper-rigid, the guys, I still remember the déhancher the rear wheel, when I climb on snow,
Chaussée de Mons, from H-St-PAUL to HAINE-Saint-PIERRE...
In addition, despite its weight (.!.), As I wanted it like a first love, to the point of pulling it by
climbing the two sets of stairs from the church of HAINE-St-PAUL (background) and then,
after passing two large doors, leave it in the square, two other previous entry door of the building ...
But I make my first weapon (without permit) in the Belgian Ardennes on a BM R50 of 1937;
it was the first BMW with the selector in the left foot… (The previous model had the gearshift to the tank!!) I remember its cylinders (cache-rocker) very square and his huge handlebar.
Then in 1972, I offered me R 75 / 5 (with Bing carbs pumps listed in depression)
It changed me a lot of my grandmother eve (R50 1937), and R 50 / 5 slow on which I drove daily to
the Military Police (Belgian Forces in Germany) I remember during the running(...) of a sun taken at startup full intersection with my twin brother seated behind (there was a real difference ...)
In 1982, I made my statements more love to the beautiful new K 100 RS BMW. Before our first excitement I must have bought about thirty books on the ... imagine the time it was a real revolution to see out a Four-cylinder in BM, which is more sophisticated, only the ABS it was still lacking for this version.
I am tens of thousands of Km in all weather conditions, regular in "The Elephant Treffen am Nürburgring’’(since 1972): I was -like a kid- proud of my chain of platelets suspended in the medal
of the concentrates ‘'Ring Meister"(a metal plate per year) hanging on my leather combination of
the same blue as the motorcycle.
[Nothing else had the privilege of coming clutter (break) my leather).
Once from the NURBURGRING with the R75 / 5 it was so cold that the choke lever that lowered
the day before I was locked-frozen-...
In fact it was-by raising the engine's first anti-wheel lock on a BMW ...
This was a problem on the K, with the "cut off", great on the autobahn (engine braking),
and great for the consumer, but dangerous in the snow,
the total cut (rough) of the injection deceleration.
Another time, because it was extremely difficult in Germany to find K 81 (Dunlop), following a poor correlation (metric / inch) of the tire, relative to the inner tube, I paid a break-in back to more than
160 Km Hour, which is more beautiful in a long curve to the left, without falling to the grace of God,
and my steering brake (lever round) that I clenched lot (almost frozen) when I drove at high speeds
on the autobahn in Germany ...
I still remember having had to wait 20 minutes to disassemble my tire was hot, and my legs trembling alone (retroactively) after stand on the foot, and the admiring glances of the road had seen the
scene and horn as it passed, so amazed that I discovered smoke billowing from my rim!
Nostalgia, I think still turns to the "RING", fittings concrete slabs, and the sequences of climbs and descents, where his (nick)name (im Deutsch) das "Karussell" slide with a real estate no blind corners, where any advance is impossible, given the lack of visibility.
Sequence emotion there was one left which lasted so long that I was almost dizzy with so much
"that lasted" and so I would ... Wunderbar !
Mench, das nicht gibt toch!
In addition, they are so numerous that it is absolutely impossible to memorize,
Mench, das gibt toch nicht !
Here it is - not the engine - which makes the difference (.!.)
On the way, I still remember the risk of ice, fog, mist, which - suddenly - without warning, the turning
of a bowl invaded the visor (the white wall), and these wonderful images that jostle in my memory:
These beautiful valleys of the EIFEL with its ruined castles, happy piercing suddenly see the extent of these clouds Dantesque (Literature own hell imagined by DANTE: terrifying and grandiose) so cold, these clouds so low, to see the joy, happiness to see the light of the dancing flames through the fog, and then the smell of campfires and guess finally human figures in this unreal scene after such a tough journey, ... Reward.
Meine God das war so sheune !
Emotion also reviewing wilderness hiking trial in Belgium with fagnes surprised by - the end - a "trail",
a flight in a vacuum, and landed on both wheels, eight meters down in the bed of a river,
on the verge of a rock that would have fragmented the casing of the YAMAHA 250 TY!
I'm the cousin returned home to SPA, the handlebar "horns of cows’’, ...
''down" given the severe impact on the ground!
Nostalgia in mind camping in the heart of the Black Forest(Schwarzwald),
the knife near the sleeping-bag case, where a wolf ... (Chills sequence)
For the time in New Caledonia, I was riding in DUCATI Monster Corse, and at the time of order the latest TRIUMPH Tiger 1050 in its latest delivered Blazing Orange, my girlfriend (who loves the medium bike)
flashe serious about TRIUMPH Sprint ST; reading a comparative Moto Journal,
N ° 1809 of 15 May 2008 (Received September in New Caledonia), it fell under the spell,
she praises the unparalleled design of the Sprint ST as compared to Tiger 1050.
Furthermore, section drives the point, asserting the supremacy of the Sprint ST in
Comfort and agreement suspensions, adding greater aggressiveness of the engine ...
I am unhappy!
The Tiger I like a lot, but I began to appreciate some of the Sprint ST
that I never tried (None in the area).
What bothers me on the Sprint ST:
She seems much too small for me (just like on my Ducati);
this is my big worry, so is it possible on this machine down (original or not) the footrests pilot?
On the other hand, if I make a saddle for example in Sellerie Concept,(http://www.selle-moto.com/sellerie-concept-selle-moto/) asking to double the thickness (in order to unfold the legs),
I would not have another problem:
That of having too then folded back, chest and rolled liking this more forward?
I had a lot of BMW in Europe (Germany & Belgium) ...
Motorcycles (but also cars ...).
But here with the two previous concessions BMW have always been sold at prices not possible!
New Caledonia is the only country in the world, motorcycles or brand, are sold at least 30 to 35%
more expensive than Anywhere else, inexplicable…
[Without any possibility of this Territory on facilities such as a leasing with purchase option (LOA)]
Example: the former K 1200 GT equipped Security Pack, Pack GT ECE3, high windshield,
Burglar Alarm System, Anti-ASC-skating; Costs EVERYWHERE(±) 20'595,-€...
Roughly the equivalent of 2,500,000,-XPF, local currency.
For this price, here could afford a K 1200 S (Without ESA system),
or R 1200 S (2'390'000,-XPF-= ± 20,000,-€).
In Europe as elsewhere the R 1200 S is equipped with the same amounts to 15'135,- €
(1'806'000,-XPF) with options
Painting Metal Titan Silver / Magma Red, Hand warmers and disconnectable ABS;
a difference of nearly 5,000,-€!
Info for the K 1200 S was sold in Australia 22'500,-AU $ ...
And Australia also motorcycles Europe (same distance),to the continent of Australia and New Zealand!
That's why I turned to DUCATI cheaper to purchase, but exorbitant cost of maintenance ...
A bike a little ‘’tape-ass'' but hyper reactive and unapproachable in the hands of a driver!
But after trying the three cylinder TRIUMPH 1050, The flash!
A foot with An engine with a range of available regime enormous:
All with incredible flexibility at the bottom, with torque (power) anywhere ...
With agility, road-holding: More The comfort!
If I remain on the ''Caillou’’, it will be a TRIUMPH, a superb bike to the finish impeccable,
which has nothing to do with TRIUMPH of the seventies!
[Just to see ''Motorrad’’, the comparative long-distance on 50mil.Km with Thirteen other bikes:
Won Top Hand by TRIUMPH Sprint ST 1050, and another test on 50,000,-Km in MOTO JOURNAL].
Jean-Louis of SUD MOTORS; importer and dealer TRIUMPH of the Territory,
is sometimes a little ''grumpy'' but it is a True Motard, good mechanic,
and maintenance costs are not designed for ‘’Caisseux''(Motorist)
business executive Occasionally running bike!
I currently plan to migrate to Australia!
If I succeed, I will be pleased with the Best motorcycle for a large country,
the new K 1300 GT (± 32,000,- AU $ with all options).).
While the former K 1200 GT beyond the 3'000.000,-XPF on ''Caillou''...
[A difference of over one million French Pacific Franc (XPF)
(difference greater than> 8'300,-€uro)].
I await your comments & other tips ...
The money is expensive, but life is priceless ...
Get All my warmest greetings and friendly,
I worship dedicated to THE Bike (sorry Lord), and,
This is the Only ‘’thing'' that I can never pass me!

Already, some motorcycle club can boast of having more than three hundred members ...
It is true that we are not Club Mono-brand or dedicated to a single type of Motorcycles!
Similarly, do not forget, our Forum, being on the ''Web''
And accessible worldwide, not bad I think the idea of changing my ''title'' in English,
and have also translated the entire text of presentation, trying beyond translation ''Vocabulary''
to respect the meaning of the sentence: Not always easy!
In addition, I shared this project with Fab. then discussing the issue
with MOUSS who found the idea.
MOUSS on this opening to the outside was that it would be possible to create on
the homepage of the site a ''button'' English (Flag), and ditto for the French ...
Napoleon Bonaparte said (And yet it was French, not Belgian ...):
Anyone who does not, fell!
Regarding the New URL of the Forum, which is much shorter, it is true, but
(for the search results via Google for instance)
I find it unfortunate that not once the word biker or motorcycle, is included in the URL.
Which would bring benefit to a maximum of visitors to our forums.
The essence, the spirit, the philosophy of a forum is to exchange ideas,
skills in a constructive and positive ...
All for One: One for all,
could be our motto!
Where resumed as behind the throne of the King of the Belgians,
motto of Belgium:
L'Union fait la force ... (The Union is strength ...)
